Well here it is, your one internet stop to feast on all the details of our journey into the great FAA abyss.

Happy Birthday Elijah Mark Bailey!!! 3 years ago to the day our lives were forever changed. With Eli coming 3 weeks early, I left the hospital to finish the house for our new arrival. With 3 years gone quick, and Eli sneaking up on 4 feet, I couldn't imagine life without the little whippersnappers. We took pictures of him opening his presents today, and wow they are already on here for you to see.

I went out yesterday morning before the clock struck 5 to get some pictures of the sunrise in Pittsburgh. I love the peace you feel in the morning. Even standing there overlooking the "steel" city, with the dull roar of early morning freight train loads and river barges, it was a sight and feeling I hope I never forget. A couple of early morning joggers whisked by as the sun, now blood red from the humidity, finally peeked over the horizon and then made its way through intimidating skyscrapers. Standing on Mt. Washington not far from the Duquesne Incline, I looked out over downtown Pittsburgh and its many boroughs. This view would be like standing on Ensign peek overlooking Salt Lake City. I could see for miles and miles, which out here is a rarity. As the sun rose up it scorched the fog and ground making the entire area glow. No more than 3 hours later in the very spot I was standing, Pittsburgher's will yell, spit, exert road rage, and make up new words to call people. I love Pittsburgh.

NEW STUFF!!! I am trying to add 3.5 billion pics by the end of today. Check them out and enjoy. Anyone that has trouble viewing any of the pictures on here please let me know. We will write some more junk on here this weekend, but for now we are planning our departure from the great commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We anticipate being on the road AGAIN by the first part of September. We hope everyone is doing swell.

We will be updating this at a rapid pace or not. Given that I have recently embraced the ranks of the unemployed, I may actually get the full story on here soon. We are currently residing in Western Pennsylvania, close enough to Pittsburgh to claim ourselves as "burghers". We have had an excellent time out here. We are now trying to relish the moment here, as we may be back on the road by as soon as September.

The FAA has not given us the "official" offer yet. I have been told that my packet has been sent to Colorado, so we are hoping we will end up at the Air Traffic Control Center outside of Denver. It will be a bit of a waiting game to get a slot in the FAA academy in Oklahoma City. Therefore, we are planning to come back to Utah and prepare for the next journey, wherever that may be.

Right now we are getting ready for Mom and Shar to come out next week. We be visiting DC, Philly, Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Ben's chili bowl. It should be action packed.

We miss everyone! We will be adding piles of good stuff on here, so keep checking.

Let's play who likes the forest?
